About Me

I am Diane, a certified Play Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children.

 

My qualifications include -

 

- Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy

- Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills

- BA (Hons) in Education Studies

- Level 2 certificate in Counselling Children and Young People.

 

While working in mainstream education, I witnessed first hand the pressure on young people including a decline in resilience and a sharp increase in mental health concerns. This inspired me to retrain as a play and creative arts therapist with PTUK which allows me to offer a more focused support for children who are experiencing challenges in their lives.

 

I work closely with the school SENDCo and wider staff team so support is joined‑up. Sessions are planned around the school day, with regular reviews to share progress and next steps
